What can you do to help?

Many people ask: How can I contribute?

There is so much that can be done! Many have offered up their services and resources. 

Working at the school can be fulfilling as you work with young children who have a passion for life. Those with the necesary skill set can be teachers and if that seems daunting then becoming a teachers’ assistant will help you build the necessary skill set and confidence to become a teacher. Volunteering as a high school student will make an impact on the community, help you make friends and gain work experience. 

Items that are needed:

The needs in this area grow as the school expands and the community dependency grows.  To list a few:

      – A rebore of the existing bore hole to 120m.

      – More buildings for a media and music centre.

      – Training programs for the teachers.

      – Toilets to accommodate the new grade (as per Health Dept requirements.)

      – A security system.  The profile of the school is increasing and is potentially a target.

      – Play equipment.

      – Levelling of a play area.

 

      – Volunteering.

 

Financial involvement is also a way of assisting. This can be done by arrangement or payments can be made directly into our bank account :
